The church was built in the late 1960's, to cater for the growing population moving from Scotland to Corby at that time. It is situated within the Beanfield estate in Corby, close to the town centre. Our sister church St. Andrews is at the other end of the town.
The church is a modern building bursting with life and contains two spacious halls which are used for a variety of activities. Other facilities include a vestry, session room, fully equipped kitchen and disabled amenities. The session room is mainly used for session meetings and other meetings related to church business. The vestry is used by the minster on tuesday nights for an open session to meet anyone who wishes to discuss e.g. weddings, funerals or any other business.
The large hall is used throughout the week for a number of events and activites. This is the main hall used for the Christmas Bazzar, Summer Fete and Quiz night The smaller of the two halls is used for Sunday School, Guild meetings and Board meetings. It is also used as a cafe during the summer fete and the Christmas bazaar. The kitchen has adequate facilities to provide meals for 100 people. The church has a car park situated to the rear of the building easily accessed by the gate to the right of the church.
